My Anfield Abseil for Cash for Kids – A Day to Remember

The Anfield Abseil

On the 6th of August, I took on a challenge I’ll never forget – the Anfield Abseil – all in aid of Cash for Kids. My original goal was to raise money to support this incredible charity, and thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone who donated, I’m so proud to say I exceeded my target and raised £190!

From start to finish, the day was absolutely amazing. The staff made everything run so smoothly – from calming the nerves to guiding us through every step of the abseil. Their encouragement and professionalism made the whole experience not just safe, but so much fun.

As a lifelong Liverpool supporter, it felt extra special to lower myself down the side of Anfield, passing right by the iconic LFC crest. To see it that close, while hanging from the stadium, was surreal – a memory I’ll never forget.

What made the day even more meaningful was sharing it with my family. My daughter and partner decided to take on the abseil too, which made me so proud. Watching them face the challenge and smash it was just incredible – it turned a personal milestone into a family achievement.

If you’re ever considering doing the Anfield Abseil, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s the perfect mix of adrenaline, accomplishment, and unforgettable memories.

Thank you again to everyone who supported me and helped raise funds for Cash for Kids. Together, we made a difference.
